Sutton Foster is an award-winning artist, performer and dancer who has performed in 11 Broadway shows, including the return of Violet and the originating roles in the Broadway performances including The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and the Tony Award-winning roles in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Sutton Foster was an Star Search contestant at the age of 15 and has appeared on Bunheads and Psych. She has also been in Sesame Street and Law and Order SVU. Sutton Foster is a soloist who has performed in the US and overseas along with Michael Rafter. They have recorded songs from the debut album "Wish" along with the follow-up CD, An Evening With Sutton Foster Live At The Cafe Carlyle. Ball State University conferred her with an honorary PhD in the year 2011. As well as being an advisor and professor within the Department of Theatre and Dance and Dance, she also received the degree from Ball State University. She has been starring in the TV show "Younger" which was created by Darren Star, since March 2015.
