Yael Stein was born in Australian and lives in New York City since 2013 She played Lorna Morrello on Orange Is the New Black. Yael Stone graduated from NIDA. Her early work experience has enabled her to work with some of Australia's best storytellers. Yael leads a highly successful career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael moved into New York City after the Brooklyn Academy of Music's staging of the play was an enormous success. Yael was co-founder at The Cannery. Based in a Bushwick, Brooklyn studio, The Cannery is a place to promote new writing, innovative creative projects and assists in the development of young writers.
